Cassidy is a natural brunette with medium length hair, but prefers to color her hair red. She has dark brown eyes and usually wears a bit of eye liner to accentuate them. She isn’t tall or short, bu rather somewhere in between standing at about 5’4”. Cassidy has an average build. She’s not fat but wouldn’t be considered skinny either. Both of her ears are pierced (after she begged her parents for weeks). There are two small crescent shaped birthmarks on her left shoulder blade and a small scar on her upper right leg from when she hurt herself when she was younger.
Quidditch is a huge part of her life. She loves going to games with her family and plays all the time when she’s home. When she got to Hogwarts, Cassidy wanted nothing more than to play for her houses’ team. Reading is another favorite of hers, she could spend hours just laying outside, sitting up against a tree, and reading a good book. It’s one of her favorite ways to relax. Although you’re supposed to eat chocolate to feel better, Cassidy has a strong dislike for the taste of it. She finds nothing appealing about it and chooses not to eat candy that has chocolate in it.
Being smart and witty is all a part of being a Ravenclaw and Cassidy definitely has those qualities, but sometimes they can be her worst character traits. On one hand being smart means that she gets great grades, understands her class lectures fairly easily, and is able to do homework with any trouble. On the other hand, since she’s in Ravenclaw, the aforementioned talents she has is something that all Ravenclaws possess so she gets competitive ad tries to outdo her house mates. Friendly competition is one thing, but Cassidy takes it to a whole new level. Sometimes she can be too hard on herself if she notices someone got a better grade then her on something, but she does better she gloats way too much. It’s something she’s working on, but it takes time to break a bad habit.
Potions is one of Cassidy’s favorite classes. Her biggest desire would be to create her own potions and become a well known potions master. She’s always trying out new combinations to see what new things she can come up with. One of her happiest memories was when she got accepted into Hogwarts. For a lot of people who come from magical families, they expect that they will get their letter, but Cassidy was too confident that one would come for her. She noticed her twin being able to small bits of magic every once in a while, but she was never able to do any. Her twin even got the Hogwarts letter way before she got hers and she figured she never get one so when she finally did she was overjoyed. Her parents tried telling her that some people are just late bloomers and even if she was a squib, it wouldn’t be the end of the world.
Cassidy parents are Aiden and Evangelina Potter. She has 4 siblings; an older one in Gryffindor, a twin in Gryffindor, a younger one in Slytherin, and one currently not in school yet. Her family is clearly all over the place. Part of her is hoping that her younger sibling will join her in Ravenclaw since two of them are already Gryffindors. Cassidy is now 14 (4th year) and has a pet cat at home and misses him dearly. She was going to bring him to Hogwarts with her, but her parents thought it would be better to have her own owl with her instead.
Being a twin might seem like fun to some people, but in reality it can get a bit tiresome. On one hand you have someone who completely understands you and can tell anything too, but on the other it’s like you have no sense of self. Luckily for her, she a fraternal twin so she doesn’t have to deal with people getting her confused with someone else. Also, since her twin is in Slytherin, she doesn't have to deal with him/her all the time which is pretty nice. Cassidy is extremely independent so having family be constantly around her is not ideal.
